Apartment block "Wilson", 2 storeys. In the district of Carabacel, excellent location: right in the centre but still quiet, 800 m from the sea, 800 m from the beach. Public car park at 350 m, extra. Grocery 17 m, supermarket, shopping centre, restaurant 47 m, bar 47 m, bakery 100 m, café, pedestrian zone 600 m, 10 minute walk to the centre, tram "Durandy" 120 m, bus stop "Wilson" 150 m, railway station "Nice Thiers" 1.6 km, shingle beach "Opéra plage" 800 m. Golf course (18 hole) 20 km. Nearby attractions: Vieux Nice 600 m, Promenade des Anglais 800 m, Villefranche sur Mer 7 km, Marineland 20 km, Saint Paul de Vence 20 km, Monaco 20 km. Had a nice 5 night stay here. The location is great, close to the old town and walking distance from the beach. The area is nice with many cafe's and a small supermarket just outside the port. Apartment was similar than it seems in the photos. We could've hoped for better cleanliness (there was some dust and dirt on the walls), but overall it was tidy. You can hear everything from the neighbours, so if you want a quiet place, i don't recommend this. Also not good for loud or jumpy kids.
A delightful apartment, located in an extremely good location being only 5 minutes walk to the old town and with a supermarket, ATM and tram station (Durandy - direct from airport) all literally on the doorstep. The two best bakeries in nice (La Niçoise and Carabacle Boulangeri on Rue Pastorelli) are also both under a 2 minute walk. The apartment itself is spacious, light and airy and well appointed, and very secure. Will be staying here again!
